Visiting Medical Officer (sessional basis)

City Roads (Crisis Intervention) is a residential service based in Islington, North London which provides treatment and care to drug users in crisis. We are a short stay unit which responds to people who are in life-treatening danger as a result of their drug use. As part of the service, we provide detoxification and primary healthcare. We are seeking Medical Practitioners to support the work of the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the quality care provided to our client group.
Medical support to the Service is provided on a sessional basis (5x per week) and on-call support by telephone (24hrs).
We would like to hear from Medical Practitioners with an interest in this field or a background in Primary Healthcare/General Medicine who would be available on a locum or permanent basis to work sessions and/or on-call.
