Substance Misuse Management Project

POST: General Practitioner Facilitator, Substance Misuse
REF NO: BPCT/344
BASE: Wembley Centre for Health & Care
HOURS: 1 session per week

SUMMARY: Applications are invited for a fully qualified medical practitioner with experience in working with drug users and the management of substance misuse in general practice. The post holder will be developing and promoting the registration and care of drug users in general practice across Brent and Harrow for their general primary care and specific drug use related needs. The overall aim is to have a significantly larger number of GPs taking and treating manageable number of drug users, whilst collaborating with community drugs and alcohol services. The successful applicant will be collaborating in the SMP training programme.
