POST: Primary Care Nurse, Hepatitis Vaccination Project

HOURS: 37.5 hours
SUMMARY: Your main tasks will be to provide advice/information and support with the health and social care needs of Addaction Brent clients and satellite clinics, to assist the development of a Harm Reduction Service both at project base and satellites, to promote and provide health care interventions and develop onward referral with appropriate community based health care services, to provide health assessments, provide pre and post-test counselling, blood testing and Hepatitis B vaccinations, arrange referrals to specialist services for clients who test positive, provide ongoing support and management of positively tested clients, reduce the harms associated with being infected with viral hepatitis and advice on safer drug use, safer sex and healthy living.
