Salary: Grade G: £23,860 - £28,070.
Position: Permanent
Hours: Full time

Caring for People, shaping the future

Exciting opportunities have arisen within Northamptonshire to design, shape and deliver joined up treatment services for people who have a drug misuse problem.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, innovative and proactive with proven abilities in developing community-based services. You will liaise with GPs and specialist services to provide a complete package of treatment and care to individuals under the common title of "Shared Care".

In at the start, you will assist in defining the direction of primary care treatment services in the county and thus enjoy independence and autonomy in clinical and operational matters. Strategic and Clinical Governance support will be provided by Northamptonshire Drug and Alcohol Services.

What you will need is:

  • At least 2 years F Grade or above experience in drug and alcohol work
  • excellent communications skills
  • well crafted analytical and judgement skills
  • the ability to plan and organise your work load effectively
  • the capacity to travel between clinics and GP practices on a weekly basis
