This post is an exciting opportunity for a salaried GP with a special interest in substance misuse. We are looking for an experienced general practitioner to establish and develop a primary care based substance misuse service.

The service will offer support and treatment to those presenting with substance misuse problems within a specific geographical area (Rugeley). In addition, the service will act as a catalyst to support and develop a Local Enhanced Service (LES) in order to increase the capacity and capability of other general practitioners to support substance misusers.

Successful candidates will have a suitable medical qualification plus appropriate experience in the field of managing the complex needs of substance misusers.
