The NFA Team at the Primary Care Centre For Homeless People provides personal medical services to the single homeless population of Leeds. The team provides a treatment service to a large number of patients with substance use problems, many of whom have multiple needs including mental health issues.

The team are hoping to recruit an additional senior drug practitioner. The successful applicant will need an understanding of issues affecting homeless people and drug users. Relevant qualifications include substance misuse, RMN, social work or equivalent, with experience in harm reduction, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention work. Good team working and excellent communication skills are essential.

You would be joining an established and motivated multidisciplinary team. The postholder would be well supported at NFA, Drug Directorate and PCT Level.
