Tutors for the RCGP SMU Certificate in the Management of Drug Misuse - Part Two

Job title: Tutor for the RCGP SMU Certificate in the Management of Drug Misuse - Part Two

The RCGP Substance Misuse Unit are now looking to recruit a bank of tutors to deliver the 2010 Certificate in the Management of Drug Misuse Training.

The Part Two runs from February to October each year and will require tutors to:

  • Attend a Training the Tutors event on January 18th 2010.
  • Participate in the delivery of a Regional Master Class for up to 80 people in February/March 2010.
  • Deliver two tutorial/local master class events, usually with a co-tutor.
  • Mark one piece of written work per person "critical appraisal of an academic paper".
  • Carry out a viva assessment with the candidates in their tutor groups.
