NEW RESIDENTIAL 18 BED DRUG & ALCOHOL DETOX, STABILISATION, SUBSTANCE MISUSE & REHAB CENTRE

Inclusion Drug Alcohol Services & Phoenix Futures in partnership with Birmingham City Council are launching an innovative and ground breaking purpose built residential unit in Spring 2010. This exciting new joint venture will provide a range of clinical, pharmacological, social and therapeutic interventions to residents of Birmingham and Solihull wishing to stabilise, detoxify and rehabilitate from problematic drug and alcohol use and rebuild their lives.

Centrally located in Birmingham, the centre will offer 24/7 nursing cover and a 7 day week therapeutic programme to both day placements and 18 in-patients. Our vision for this ambitious project is to provide a "Centre of Excellence" and shape the future of drug and alcohol treatment models in the UK. We are seeking a range of high calibre committed professional staff to join us to make this vision a reality. We require motivated individuals, able to work flexibly within a truly multi-disciplinary team, with the enthusiasm needed to work at the cutting edge of service delivery to drive this project forward. We are currently recruiting senior posts for the unit
Inclusion Drug & Alcohol Services Clinical Team

Title: Lead Prescriber
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 18.75 Hours per week
Salary: To be negotiated

Title: Specialist Prescriber
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 4 Sessions per week
Salary: £53,249-£80,354 per annum

These sessions can be shared between more than 1 doctor.

As an experienced GP you will ensure that the unit operates within safe, evidenced based practice and provide training and direction to the units medical team alongside specialist detoxification and stabilisation interventions.
