First Contact Clinical is looking to expand its pool of independent contractors (self-employed).

Specialist Prescribers

We are looking for expressions of interest to join our team of medical and non medical prescriber's who provide specialist substance misuse sessions in the South Tyneside area.

We provide a medical and non medical prescriber training programme and all prescribers will work as part of a well-established, supportive team. Experience in the management of substance misuse services in a community setting is desirable but full training will be given.

Ideally you should possess the RCGP1 qualification or equivalent to provide clinical sessions. However, we will support any interested parties in gaining the qualification.

This is an ideal opportunity for a medical or non medical prescriber to gain experience working with substance users in a supportive environment.
